Delbert (Del) Evan Langley, my brother and friend died on February 28, 2024, in Taylorsville, Utah at the age of 79. He was born on August 17, 1944, to Charley and Cleone Langley in Spokane, Washington. He married the love of his life Catherine Jean Sutton on June 6, 1975, in West Valley City, Utah.

Delbert overcame many challenges in his life. Nothing stopped him from doing what he set out to do. Delbert attended BYU and always was a big Cougar fan. He loved to travel and took a tour of Europe all by himself. He brought home lots of souvenirs which he cherished. He loved to draw, paint and make crafts. Delbert loved and cared for his little family. He supported his wife and Daughter Patsy for years in the special Olympics and Special Needs Mutual. Delbert worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the church office building as a custodian for 33 years. He met and was friends with many church authorities. Delbert was a kind and caring man who will be missed by family and many old and new friends. Special thanks to the staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville for their wonderful care and concern for Delbert for the last 5 months of his life. He loved it there. He thought it was so Fancy!

He is survived by his daughter Patsy, and brothers Cleon and Charley Jr.

He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine and parents.
