Delbert Ray Runner, II (66) of
Chester, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Doris May Runner. Delbert is survived by his wife, Cathy Runner; children, Dawn Fallin (Allan), David Ambrose (Danita) and Daniel Ambrose (Ratanak); and brothers, David Runner (Barbara) and Dale Runner (Lisa). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, January 25 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Delbert's funeral service will held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 26 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6600 Greenyard Rd., Chester, VA 23831. Interment private at Centralia Cemetery.
