Funeral services for Delbra "Debbie" Gann Crowson, age 68, of Delta, will be Monday, April 29, 2024, 11:00 am at Antioch Baptist Church in Oxford with Rev. Randy Hagen and rev. Tracy Shaddix officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 till 8 pm at Antioch Baptist Church.
Mrs. Crowson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 47 years, Fred Crowson, daughters, Amanda Humphries (Barry), Elizabeth Morris (Glen), son, Adam Crowson (Heather), her grandchildren, Grant Humphries (Bree), Kinsley Humphries (Tyler Daniel), Brody Morris, Caleb Morris, Gracee Crowson, Levi Morris, great granddaughter, Adalynn Humphries, brothers, Steven Gann, Stanley Gann, sister, Deanna Borden, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crowson was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Dean Gann.
Mrs. Crowson was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She loved her grand babies and her first great grandchild.
She loved to travel and see new places, which included riding in the car just her and Fred having long talks with each other and enjoyed that very much. Mrs. Crowson was very fortunate to get to go on 3 cruises, which she enjoyed very much. Her favorite place to go was Disney World in Florida. Mrs. Crowson had a big heart and cared for others, especially those in the nursing home and with others that had health problems. She was very devoted to taking care of her grandparents, her father and her mother before they passed away.
She loved going to church with her family, loved going to Sunday School where she got the chance to get close to her Christian friends, who where her extended family.
Mrs. Crowson worked for 1 years as a house mother at The Presbyterian Orphanage in Talladega. She worked for the state of Alabama Parks Department for 12 years and worked at Quintard Mall for 8 years.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Nelson, Jason Nelson, Jake Borden, Brett Borden, Tommy Pope, Tyler Daniel and Jack Sprayberry.
