LA VILLA - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Delfina Pena, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on April 8, 1929, Delfina was a shining light in the lives of those around her, embodying joy, warmth, and resilience.

Delfina was a devoted mother to her three children, who will forever cherish the love and support their mother provided. Her legacy will continue to thrive through her 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit in their hearts.

Throughout her life, Delfina was known for her cheerful disposition, unwavering optimism, and contagious laughter, which could brighten even the darkest of days. She was not only the heart of her family but also a trusted friend and confidante to many others. Her kindness left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, and she will be dearly missed.

Delfina will be reunited with her beloved husband, Daniel Pena, as well as her parents and nine siblings, creating a circle of love that continues beyond this life.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Chapel in Edcouch. As per Delfina's wishes, cremation will follow at a later date.

Delfina Pena will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, remembered not just for her laughter, but for the love she generously shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.
