Delia Jimenez, 71, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Odessa, Texas.
Delia was born in Pecos, Texas to Concepcion and Adela Martinez on December 21, 1953.
She went to school in Balmorhea, Texas where she graduated from Balmorhea High School. Delia later married Juan Jimenez on September 28, 1974, in Odessa, Texas. She worked as a customer service representative for Walmart Supercenter for 25 years.
Delia is preceded in death by her father Concepcion Martinez, nephew Jerry Ray Mendoza and great grandson Jax Jaquez.
She is survived by her loving husband Juan Jimenez, daughters Yvette Galindo and husband Joe Robert, Marla Jimenez both of Odessa, Texas, Lelonie Renteria and husband Edson of Jarrell, Texas along with sons Juan Jimenez and wife Dominica, and Andrew Jimenez both of Odessa, Texas, mother Adela Martinez, sisters Diana Tarin and husband Herman, Susana Dominguez and husband Tommy, Sylvia Mendoza and husband Manuel, brothers Mario Martinez and wife Gracie all of Balmorhea, Texas, Joel Martinez and wife Geneva of Pecos, Texas and Choncepcion Martinez and wife Reyna of Odessa, Texas. Delia also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home from 9:00am to 3:00pm, visitation will also be held at Christ the King Church in Balmorhea, Texas Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with Rosary to follow at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at Christ the King Church in Balmorhea, Texas at 10:00am with burial to follow at Balmorhea Cemetery in Balmorhea, Texas.
The pallbearers serving will be Joe Raymond Galindo, Roman Galindo, Romeo Galindo, Anthony Chavez, Zachary Jimenez, and Andrew Jimenez Jr.
