Della M. Smith, 65 of Dunbar died on Monday March 31, 2025 at her residence. She was born on August 31, 1959 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor Rose Pirl Della was formerly employed as a Nurse's Aide having worked at the Nedrow PCH, Lint PCH, Easy Living PCH and Upton's PCH. She is survived by her fiancé, George Miller of Dunbar; her children, Candy Thorpe and her husband Calvin of Dunbar, Rickey Smith and his wife Sharon Frailey of Champion and Tina Smith Lilley of Champion; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and her siblings, William Pirl and his wife Mary Rowe of Connellsville, Tom Pirl and his wife Tammy of Normalville, Linda Bentz of Somerset and Donald Pirl of Normalville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Pirl and a sister, Virginia Swope. Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. Thursday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Lyons officiating.
