Della Dean Seidel entered the arms of the Lord on May 20, 2025 at the age of 85. She was born February 3, 1940 to Lanford Dick and Maggie Emma Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dick and Emma Smith; her husband, James E. Seidel; grandson, Stephen C. Wallace; sisters, Dorothy Artigue, Gladys Reid, Sybil Allen, Lois Dromgoole, Tiny Frerich, brothers William James Smith and Wallace Edward Smith.
She is survived by her three daughters and their families, Connie and Craig Wallace, Kathleen and Michael Goertz, Lisa and Perry Gregory; sister, Evelyn Joyce Dunlap; grandchildren, Nichole and Timothy Garner, Lindsey and Tyler Saunders, Justin and Anna Goertz, Nicholas and Shelby Goertz, Brandon and Carrie Gregory, Cody and Mikayla Gregory, and great-grandchildren, Anna Garner and Luke Garner, Emma Grace Saunders, Owen Saunders, Allie Saunders, and Isaac Saunders, Bailey Goertz, Scarlett Goertz, Hazel Goertz, David Goertz, Lathan Gregory and Kyndal Gregory.
Active Pallbearers will be: Tim Garner, Luke Garner, Tyler Saunders, Justin Goertz, Nicholas Goertz, Brandon Gregory, Cody Gregory, Willie Dromgoole, Doyle Frerich, David Dunlap.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Anna Garner, Emma Saunders, Owen Saunders, Isaac Saunders, Allie Saunders, Bailey Goertz, Scarlett Goertz, Hazel Goertz, Lathan Gregory, Kyndal Gregory, David Goertz, Kaber Majeski, Kemper Majeski.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to a church, Alzheimer's Research Foundation, or charity of your choice in loving memory of Della Seidel.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and the Rosary will begin at 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in String Prairie, Texas. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial following at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
