My deepest sympathy to you Mary and to the family. I knew Del from his early years on as we grew up in the same neighborhood of Grafton which is now a flood plain. I last talked to Del in 2008 at the 50-year reunion of our high school class. I will cherish many good memories of him. You couldn't find a more likable and positive person. His obituary says it well. I cannot attend the funeral due to distance, but send my thoughts and prayers as you deal with the loss of his presence.

Mary and Family, We are very sorry for your loss. Del was a good friend to us and we will certainly miss him as will many others. Sorry we won't be able to go to his memorial service. We are in Arizona for the winter.
