Delma Hernandez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home & Chapel on Dec. 30, 2025.
Delma Hernandez, age 72, of Stanton, TX passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 14, 1953 in Monahans, TX to Senaido and Carolina Hernandez.

She retired from the Midland County Appraisal District where she worked for 26 years.

Delma lived a life defined by loyalty, kindness, strength, and devotion, to her family and career. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Delma was absolutely the most devoted mother to her three children and a very proud, loving grandmother to her eleven grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, she poured her heart into each one endlessly. She was so full of life - always ready to have fun, always listening to music, and always ready to dance and sing. She found joy in gardening, spending time with family and friends, camping and she absolutely loved music she could dance to. She loved life. Her love was always steady, her presence was always comforting, and her laughter is unforgettable. Wherever she was, there was warmth, movement and love.

Her vibrant spirit, boundless love, and joyful presence will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty, and unforgettable memories that will live on through her children, grandchildren, sisters, her friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her three children, Christopher Joseph Garza, Stacie Marie Garza, Bree Ann Garza, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters; Anna Natividad (Pete), Sylvia Munoz (Raymond), and Lisa Morrison (Jorge).

She was preceded in death by her parents Senaido and Carolina Hernandez, husband Ramiro Almager, and brother Sammy Hernandez.

A rosary will be recited at 1:00pm, January 6, 2026 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stanton, TX followed by a Mass at 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow Mass at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery in Stanton, TX.

We'd like to give a special thank you to her caregiver, Laura Castillo and Hospice for all of their help.
