As a member of our small community in Asherton and owner of M&D Minimart, she took part in seeing many, of now, young adults grow. She had a generous heart and was always ready to help in any way she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Mario A. Parras Sr. She is survived by her only son, Marco A. Parras, siblings, Diana Ruiz (Lazaro +), Daniel Ruiz (Elisa), Esperanza Hernandez (George), and Elsa Torres (Ruben Diaz) and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
To define Delma: A great mom, wife, daughter, sister, true friend, and a great member of our small community. Mostly, she was a true WARRIOR who fought the fight fearlessly, armed in her Faith in God. At only 62, she will be missed by many.
The Ruiz-Parras family will honor their loved one on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Leonard Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Asherton where a funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marco Parras, Joshua Hernandez, Lorenzo Torres, Jose Torres, Jesse Gonzalez, Xzavier Garcia, Ismael Esparza, Isaac Hernandez and Daniel Ruiz.
