DeLon J. Piippo, 64, of Mason City, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the IOOF home 1037 19th St. SW in Mason City, Iowa on Thursday December 4, 2025. A celebration of Life will be held from 2 to 6 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the VFW Post 733 S Monroe Ave., Mason City, Iowa.
DeLon James Piippo was born in Mason City, Iowa, the oldest of 3 sons of Carol and Marvin Piippo. He attended Mason City schools and graduated from Mason City High School. He later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
He worked for most of his life at Curries/Assa Abloy in Mason City, Iowa, where he drove forklift.
His favorite times included fishing and hunting trips, riding his motorcycle and enjoying his dogs, Harley and JD.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Carl Piippo, his girlfriend Sherri Arid, bothers Darius Piippo and Devin Piippo, nieces and nephews, cousins, and ,and many friends.
He was preceded in by his father, Marvin Piippo.
