DELORES DIANE BECKER
July 30, 1956 ˜ June 23, 2023
Delores Diane Becker (Rabitoy), 66, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on June 23, 2023. She was a loving wife, mom, sister, grandmother, and friend. Delores lived her life fully with a spark for adventure and fun, bringing her radiant smile with her wherever she went. We all miss her deeply.
Delores is survived by her four children, Alexander Becker, Sandra Becker, Shelly Leavens, and Coral Byrd; as well as her two grandchildren. She is also survived by her seven brothers and sisters, Teresa, Mark, Steve, Charles (Chuck), Michael (Tony), Barbara, and Andrew, and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bekker, in 1997; and her parents, Michael and Barbara Rabitoy.
In her professional life, Delores worked for the State of Washington, DSHS, for over 35 years. She was dedicated to her career and made a lasting impact in many families’ lives through her work in the Division of Child Support.
In her retirement, Delores enjoyed gardening, hiking, traveling, relaxing, and spending time with family, friends, and pets.
A memorial picnic to celebrate Delores’s life will be held at Hazel Dell Park in Vancouver on Sept. 16, 2023, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Humane Society of SW Washington in honor of Delores’s love for animals.

You were always so kind to both my parents who were your next door neighbors for many years. Having moved into their home I got to know her as well. I saw her about 2 weeks before she passed, she and Hugo were out in the yard. She was smiling with her dog Hugo and her white sun hat, that is how I choose to remember her.

We went to school together since first grade, and church since first communion. Such a sweet, happy girl. She will be missed. So sorry, and prayers to the family.
