Delores Biddle Obituary
August 16, 1931 - February 10, 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Delores "Lorie" M. Biddle, who left us peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on August 16, 1931, to Paul and Eva (Noyes) Hill, Lorie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.
On November 19, 1947, she was united in marriage to Robert Biddle. They were blessed to celebrate their 50th golden wedding anniversary with Pizzas and Brandy Alexanders at Villa D' Carlo before Robert preceded her in death on October 11, 1998.
Lorie was a fixture at Villa D' Carlo (Carl's Pizza) and worked her way through the ranks of oven operator, to pizza maker, and ultimately retiring as the beloved kitchen manager. She was a well-known face at the restaurant for over 47 years.
Lorie had a knack for bringing people together and was known for her warm heart and infectious laughter. She loved to share stories and create cherished memories with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her spirit of kindness will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Lorie is survived by her children, Larry (Peggy) Biddle, Donna (Corbin) Wright, Susan Vargas and Amy (Joe) Ponfil; nine grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lorie was preceded in death by her son, Steven Biddle; and son-in-law, Louis Vargas.
A visitation for Lorie will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Interment will take place privately in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be greatly appreciated.

My condolences to Lories family & friends! I worked with her 48yrs ago when delivering pizzas for Carl's. She was a fun lady that kept that pizza kitchen running. Lorie would always burn a pizza for the drivers when we were hungry. She would also help thaw our frozen clothes in the winter on the ovens in between runs.
She was Loved and will be Missed by All that knew her!

In high school, in the mid 70´s, I worked in the pizza kitchen with Lorie.I was a "phone answerer "and pizza cutter. I loved working with Lorie. She was a great boss to work alongside. We worked hard and wanted to please her, but we also had a good time while doing so. She sure knew how to keep the pizza delivery boys in line! Later, as an adult, whenever I would come into Villa D´ Carlo, and stick my head in the pizza kitchen window to say hi to Lorie, she would take the time to come over and visit a bit. She remembered so many of the kids who worked with her. My condolences to Lorie´s family. Thanks for sharing her all those

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Lori at Villa de Carlo in the 80´s in the pizza kitchen. Lori was the sweetest person and boss and had sooo much patience with all of us high school kids that worked with her. She made working so fun. I will always remember her.
