Delores Greenough, 80, of Spencer Iowa passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, with her husband by her side. She was born on May 6, 1945, in Sioux City, Iowa to David and Ella Mae (Stutzman) Loraditch where she was raised and graduated from Central High School. She and her husband Larry, moved to Spencer Iowa in 1972 where they raised their 4 children.
Delores dedicated herself to her family, a role that was central to her life. She enjoyed watching her children play sports throughout the years. It was not uncommon to see her cheering on her sons at a baseball game. In her spare time, she liked playing bingo, going to garage sales and auctions, restoring old furniture, and was active in the PTA at her children’s schools. Professionally, she spent years working in the retail industry.
Left to Cherish her memory are her husband of over 60 years, Larry Greenough; Sisters Fayth Olson of Sioux City, Iowa; Charleen (Koerner) Hawe of Canton, South Dakota; Children, Larry (Chris) Greenough of Chesapeake, VA; Loren (Sheila) Greenough of Urbandale, Iowa; Tim (DeeAnn) Greenough of Spencer, Iowa; Tanya Greenough and Mike Dunn of Kyle, TX; Grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas, Tori, Tyler and Cameron, 4 greatgrandchildren Jason, Clareese, Stella, and Scarlett and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; Brothers David (Judy) Loraditch; Harry Loraditch; Sister Mary Ann (Bill) Clarke.
