Delores Hughbanks Obituary
Delores Rose (Welty) Hughbanks, 95 of Indianapolis, Indiana died Sunday August 24, 2025. Delores was born July 26, 1930, to The Late Jesse Basil and Lela (Walton) Welty. She graduated from Howe High School and attended Normal College in Indianapolis. She married Lawrence Hughbanks on June 9, 1951. Those who knew her will cherish her memory.
She will be greatly missed by her children Terri Brinkley, Sharen Robinson, Karen Mappes, Larry Hughbanks Jr., Jerry Hughbanks and Sherri Hargis. She had 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was a charter member of Bible Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for over 25 years.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lawerence Hughbanks, her parents, her brother Kenneth Welty and two great-grandchildren, Cali and Memphis Robinson.
