DELORES JOYCE KAUTZMANN
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Delores wanted all of you to know that she has changed her address!
On March 26, 2023 she peacefully and quietly moved from Irving, Texas to her eternal home in heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, where she anxiously awaits to see you there. Delores loved John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life!"
Delores Joyce Kautzmann was born August 16,1935 in Laurel, Montana to Joseph and Pauline (Hartung) Bourne. Joseph and his twin brother "Uncle" Ed owned the Laurel Cafe from 1923 to 1951. Following the illness of her father in 1951, the Bourne family relocated to Billings where Delores met and married Arthur Kautzmann in 1956 and began the joy of raising a family. In 1976, Art, a pharmacist for twenty years, purchased the Bonanza Health Foods on Grand Avenue and the Kautzmann's started a new adventure promoting a healthier lifestyle. Art and Delores were very passionate and proud of the family business and when Art passed away in 2007, Delores took the reins of the business. In 2018, after serving 42 years in business, Delores retired and her legacy is still proudly serving the Billings community at a new location with her daughter, Arthel and son-in-law, Jerry Vincent.
Delores did more than book keeping and payroll for the store she also loved her brick home on Avenue B and looked forward to spring when she could plant flowers. For 53 years she enjoyed making her yard beautiful and felt she had the nicest house on the block, receiving many compliments from her neighbors. Delores was an artist, gifted in creating beautiful stain glass masterpieces which are treasured and enjoyed by all. She also enjoyed playing cards (specifically a game called "tick") with family and friends. Delores thoroughly loved The Lord and diligently studied her bible and shared her faith in Jesus. She was very proud of each and everyone of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, she loved them very much and enjoyed taking care of them.
Survivors include daughters Arthel (Jerry) Vincent, Amy (Jeff) Satrom, of Billings, and son Duey (Tina) Kautzmann, of Texas, eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren with two more on the way, her sister Betty Mehling of Billings, and many nieces and nephews.
