MISSOULA - Delores Renz went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024.
She was born July 18, 1935 in Beulah, North Dakota and lived on a farm with her parents and 5 sisters.
While working in a café in Beulah, she met her husband. They were married in 1955 and moved to Missoula, where they have resided together for the past 69 years.
She held several waitress jobs until she became employed by the University of Montana Dining Services and held that employment for 27 years before retiring.
She enjoyed various activities including gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, and camping with her family.
She is survived by Elmer (husband), Marina Renz (daughter) of Missoula, Roger (Kim) Renz (son and daughter-in law) of Washington State, and Thomas and Maddie Renz (grandchildren) of Washington State.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to First Lutheran Church of Missoula where they were longtime members.
Arrangements are under the care of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula.
