Delores M. Staszak

Delores M. Staszak, 95, passed away on January 20, 2026, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born on April 21, 1930, in the town of Rib Falls to the late Arthur and Adelia (Schultz) Zietlow. On July 1, 1950, she married Arthur Staszak at St. Michael Catholic Church. She graduated from Edgar High School in 1947.

Her hobbies included plastic canvas work, working in her flower and vegetable gardens, canning, and baking. She was a caregiver to her son until she was 80.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Judy) Staszak of Wausau; daughter, Carol (Clem) Jauquet of Eagan, Minnesota; granddaughter, Nicole Jauquet (Eric); and great-grandson, Caden of Somerset, Wisconsin. She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Art; son, Elroy; brother, Delbert Zietlow; and sister-in-law, Elsie Zietlow.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, with Deacon Peter Burek presiding. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
