Mrs. Delores Smith Washington, 65, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Greenville County, South Carolina, to the late Thelma Ware Wilson Williams.
She was married to Lowell Jerome Washington. She was raised by Joe Wilson, Jr., and leaves to cherish her fond memories: one daughter, Tameka Brown (James Allaway) of Anderson, SC; one son, Devario Jerome (Lauren) Washington of Houston, TX; five sisters, Loretta Wilson, Wanda Wilson, and Phyllis Rosemond all of Greenville, SC, Sharon Wilson of Mauldin, SC, and Lecia (Von) Scribner of Greenville, SC; four brothers, Thomas Earl Smith, JoNathan Wilson and Michael Wilson all of Greenville, SC, and Steven (Tammy) Wilson of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Jaylan Breazeale, Nazir Washington, Zyria Jackson and Amiyah Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, March 5, 2022, 12:00noon at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
