With grace and peace, Deloris C. Hill departed this life on October 11, 2025, at the age of 62. She was born on February 26, 1963, in
Chicago, Illinois, to the late Walter Hill and Marie Tate. Her journey from this world to eternal rest leaves a legacy of love, strength, and
cherished memories.

Deloris C. Hill embraced her faith early in life, firmly believing that God was the answer to all things and that true guidance came through His spirit. Her spiritual journey led her through many congregations, but she ultimately found her church home at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, where she deepened her commitment to always putting God first.

A devoted and loving mother, Deloris cherished her son Tarik J. Beard, whose special needs she met with unwavering care and compassion. She also leaves behind her eldest son, Aaron T. Hill; her sisters, Gail Bates (Kendrick) and Julia Reese; her brothers, Vernon Tate and Calvin Reese (Sandra); her beloved grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward. Deloris Hill's life was a testament to faith, love, and resilience. Her energy and presence will be deeply missed, and her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

There is No Light Without a Dawning

By: Helen Steiner Rice

No winter without a spring

And beyond the dark horizon

Our hearts will once more sing ….

For those who leave us for a while

Have only gone away

Out of a restless, care worn world

Into a brighter day
