Delvene Warren Beard, 93, longtime resident of the Santa Fe community, died January 13, 2026 at The Bridge assisted living.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Randy Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday, January 16, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
The family suggest that memorials may be made to South Point Church of Christ, 4479 Southpoint Ridge Rd, Hampshire, TN 38461. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born May 11, 1932 in Hickman County, TN, she was daughter of the late Willie A Warren and the late Lucy Hudgins Warren. Delvene was married to Robert Allen Beard, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1990. She formerly worked for the Lemon Tree Frame Shop for many years, and was a member of the South Point Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Goad of Hampshire; grandchildren, Brian Justin (Lauren) Maxwell of Hampshire, Jason (Sara) Beard of Williamson County, and Alicia (Cory) Ross of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Tyler Maxwell, Nathan Butt, Nolan Butt, Neely Butt, Nora Kate Butt, Neena Mae Ross, Mary Charlotte Beard, Elizabeth Beard, and Julia Beard; sister, Louise Bradford of Dickson; daughter-in-law, Elaine Beard; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Garry Beard; son-in-law, David Goad; brothers, Ellis Warren and Grover Warren; and sisters, Emma Turman and Modean Barnhill.
Pallbearers will be Donald Turman, Ronald Turman, Larry Turman, Wayne Bradford, Mike Bradford, Tim Barnhill, Steve Barnhill, Chad Warren, and Marty Lockhart.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, techs, and staff at The Bridge assisted living for the personal love, care, and concern they gave, and a special thank you to Dr. Reams Powers and his staff for their care and concern they have given over the years.
