Denelda Provow Obituary
Denelda Arlene Provow, age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of December 7, 2024, and into God’s kingdom. She was born on June 10, 1931, to the late Phillip and Helen (Kremer) Main in Wapello, Iowa. She would later meet the love of her life, Donald Rece Provow, in Ottumwa, Iowa, and eventually exchange nuptials on December 20, 1953, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Provow, and her sister, Barbara E. Rath.
She is survived by her children, David Scott Provow (Carol), Jeffrey Steven Provow (Kelly), Dr. Cynthia Jane Provow, Edward Arthur Provow (Lorri), Nancy Helen Pomrenke (Brian), and James Donald Provow (Marianne); grandchildren, Jenna Henkel (Erik), Nicole Provow, Michael Provow (Kelsey), Brian Provow, Nicholas Provow (Katie), Brenden Provow (Jessica), Christopher Provow (Sara), Kayley Peak (Joe), Craig Provow, Chaley Butler (Aaron), Rece Pomrenke, Mason Pomrenke, Katelyn Provow, and Corey Provow; great-grandchildren, Veronika Henkel, Harrison Henkel, Marjorie Provow, Amelia Provow, Zachary Provow, Nathaniel Provow, Everleigh Eckloff, Johnathon Provow, and Maximus Provow. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis (Main) Freeborn.
