Denis Ralph Amble

Denis Ralph Amble born in La Grande, Oregon, on September 06, 1949 passed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 76.

Denis is survived by his daughter Rebecca, brothers Bob and Daryl, and his sweet rescue dog, Coco. He is preceded in death by his twin brother Dayle, son Ryan Amble, son Sean Amble, parents John and Ireane Amble and dog Pinky. In Denis's younger years he enjoyed numerous activities, such as playing high school football, creating pottery, surfing the waves of the California oceans and road trips with friends to rock and roll music festivals along the coast. As an adult, Denis's hobbies expanded with his kids Rebecca and Sean's after school activities. Denis loved protecting his kids and was an amazing dad. Denis always put his kids first and was always around to help not only his kids, but also many who were lucky enough to call him a friend. Denis also enjoyed a good yard sale or swap meet, where he was pleased to find many deals and discounts on antiques or other items that friends and family were in need of, passing on the items. Denis loved to work on cars, collect cars and go to car shows.

Denis attended Horace Mann elementary school, Compton Jr. High, East Bakersfield high school (class of 67) and Bakersfield College, where he studied Business. Denis's professional life started as a supervisor at the United States Postal Service, then Denis moved on to his own landscape business in the 80s, then was a pipe fitter for a short period, which he and his kids traveled all over northwest, to fulfill the job. Lastly, Denis spent his last 25 years working at the Juvenile Probation Department, where he enjoyed shaping the less fortunate children of the community proudly.

Denis was a one of a kind, a true gem that will be missed tremendously, as he had a very big heart.
