God rest his soul in peace. Denis was one of the kindest people I have known. I ran by this obituary accidentally. I was taken by surprise and also felt very sad.
It is so nice to see that his friendship with Bobbie was lifelong. That´s true friendship. I remember Denis telling me how touched he was to be asked to be Bobbie´s best man. It´s nice to see that bond lasted. My sincere condolences, Lisa

Dear Sally, Teresa and Neil: It's with great sadness I send you my condolences. Having lost a son myself I know the pain you are feeling Sally! You and your children were the first people I met when starting my life here in the US. I remember thinking what a beautiful family you had, I especially remember Denis as a toddler. And how happy I was when you and Denis agreed to be Andrea's God parents.
Sending you hugs, prayers and all our love: Mary, Scott and Andrea xxx

Sorry to hear of the passing of Denis. A true Hull boy and a hell of a football player. He put some pretty good hits on me. He was quite the character. RIP and my condolences to Neil and the McDaid family.

You always tackled low , so I went High. Bad choice!! Nice combined tackle on Mosholu Parkway, but my nose was no match for that head of yours. Everytime I notice the curve in my nose I remember you and smile. You were a great friend and person. You will be missed by all who knew you.
