Denise L Ebbecke

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Denise Lynn DeSpain Ebbecke, who left this world peacefully on October 26, 2025. Born on February 11, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, Denise was a devoted educator who spent over 20 years as a Diagnostician for the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD). Her passion for education and unwavering dedication to her students left an indelible mark on the lives of many, nurturing young minds with compassion and knowledge.

Denise was a loving and supportive single mother to her daughter, Taylor DeSpain, demonstrating strength and resilience throughout her life. She was a fighter who embraced challenges with enthusiasm, inspiring those around her with her unwavering spirit. In addition to her commitment to education, Denise had a zest for life that included her love of traveling, music, and art.

Denise is survived by her beloved daughter, Taylor, and her caring spouse, Frank Ebbecke, who will carry on her legacy of kindness and encouragement.

A time for visitation will be on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. She wil be laid to rest at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet.

In honoring Denise's memory, we remember her as a loving mother, a dedicated educator, and a great friend to many. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
