Denise Gibbons Obituary

She was born on June 14, 1964, in Chicago, daughter of Robert and Geraldine (Sroczynski) Gibbons.
Denise was a Catholic elementary school teacher for many years. She truly loved her students and they loved her. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her mother Geraldine; sister Cynthia (Kenneth) Byker of Geneva; nieces and nephew Mary (Andrew) Blatz, Bridget (Jack) Barrett, and Grace and Danny Byker; great nieces and nephew Bryson and Colette Blatz and Nellie Barrett; dearest friends Kent (Tina) Munsterman and children Trigg and Knox; and other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and nephew Bobby Byker.
Celebration of Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva.
Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton.
