Denise Carole LaBov

I learned later of Denise's unfortunate passing as I had moved out of the area. Today I was thinking of her. I remember her being a constant, great addition to Sea Isle Public School system; be it coaching, teaching or listening. I have a special memory of her coordinating school inclusion events such as student put on events. She went above and beyond to bring smiles. I will remember her "music mementos" and her helping I believe with the assistance of her husband, Jake P and I create a rap song "ILAC in the USA." So sorry for the family's loss but she is still remember to this day for things she did while she was with us.

I met Denise at my son's wedding. She was a beautiful person. My grandchildren Sydney LaBov Dweck and Morgan Rose Dweck have suffered the untimely loss of their great -aunt.

I am so saddened to hear of Denise's passing...I remember her being so sweet and giving. She touched many lives and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

From music to competitive volleyball to trains to Long Island and days at the beach, from celebrations and travel on student budgets to questioning the rules, Denise showed heart along with integrity and loyalty. Surely this soul melts again into the joy she came from and lived in. We're all the better for having known you. My sincere condolences to a dear family.

As word has spread through the community of Denise's East Islip friends, we are all so sad to hear this news. Denise was so well-liked. We hope your memories will ease your sadness.

I had the pleasure of working for and with Denise for six years at SIC School. Always kind, funny, caring, professional. She and Sherry were a perfect team. Denise was first a colleague and fellow teacher, then a dedicated and visionary principal, and always a valued friend.
It is awesome to reflect on how many lives she has touched with her many talents and loving personality. I am grateful for her contribution to my life and extend sincere condolences to her family.

Denise was a very special loving person with whom it was my privilege to have shared a friendship. She will be missed but will live on in the positive memories she graced those who were blessed to know her. My condolences to Harry, Corey, Chet and her dad.

For the past 11 years you have been a great mother to me and a great grandmother to my son. You are an amazing person and such a good hearted soul. We love you and miss you more then you know. RIP.

Denise was an amazing principal, who was dedicated to her students. In addition, she guided her staff with inspiring organization, knowledge and kindness. Denise will be fondly remembered by anyone who knew her.

As my principal, Denise taught me so much about the students we both loved. As my friend, she taught me about unconditional love for family, strength to get thru the tough times and the joy of loving your grandchildren. My love and prayers to Denise's family.

Denise will always live in my heart and I will think of her everyday. I know she is now an angel looking out for all those she loved and who loved her.
