Denise "Murray" Lamansky

Denise (Murray) Lamansky, 68, of St. Joseph, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Mosaic Life Care with her family by her side. She was born January 31,1957 in St. Joseph to James and Frances Murray. She graduated from Central High School in 1975 and later obtained her Criminal Justice degree from Missouri Western.

Denise met and married the love of her life, Cliff. Together they have two children, Todd and Dawn and two grandchildren, Caroline and Roman. Denise worked several years at Helen Davis State School and later opened Box Office Video in the Southend.

Denise was a woman of faith and raised Catholic. She was every cousin's favorite aunt, and every friend's favorite mom. Denise was a prankster and always gave you a good laugh, a great story and she was known for her sweet tooth.

Denise was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Lamansky; her parents, James and Frances Murray; sisters Sheila, Annette, and Patricia.

Denise is survived by her son, Todd Lamansky (Michelle); daughter, Dawn Ford (Greg); grandchildren, Caroline and Roman; sisters, Kathryn, Hannorah, Mary, Maureen; and several nieces and nephews.
