Denise Lynn Locklear

Mrs. Denise Lynn Locklear, 69, received her call from Jesus on December 29, 2025, in Pembroke, North Carolina. She was born on July 23, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, and later moved to Robeson County. It was here that she began a life lled with love, family, and a devotion to Jesus Christ.

On April 27, 1985, Denise married her longtime sweetheart, Woody Wayne Locklear, and they celebrated over 40 years of marriage. A little later, on June 25, 1986, they celebrated the birth of their only child, Woody Wayne Locklear Jr., who continued to enjoy her presence up to the point of passing.

In 2018, Denise retired from the workforce after giving 20+ years in the textile industry, 8+ years in the banking industry, and 5 years as a pharmacy technician. Her decision to spend more time with family and friends would always be the one she valued most, as she always cherished her family, both traditional and extended. Denise will forever be missed by her husband, son, family, and friends as she departs her Earthly vessel and gains her wings beside her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
