It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Denise Marie Miller (Brogger) who left this world peacefully on August 28th, 2025 at the age of 80.
Denise, Born on October 27th, 1944 was a woman of warmth, creativity, and grace. She found beauty in the simple joys of life—spending summer days on Mullett Lake, tending to her gardens, and expressing her heart through art and painting. Her faith in the lord gave her strength, guided her kindness, and was a light she shared generously with her family and friends, inspiring us to see the world through both her eyes and her faith. Her legacy lives on not only in the love she gave so freely, but also in the values she instilled—kindness, gratitude, and an eye for the beauty that surrounds us. Her laughter, stories, and quiet wisdom will forever echo in our hearts.
Denise is preceded in death by her father, Frank Brogger Sr.; her mother, Phyllis (Donhaiser) Brogger; her sister, Cynthia Thomas; her nephew, Matthew Dematio; and great grandson Zander Kozik.
She is survived by her children Bill and Laura Miller, Tracey Mayville, and Tyler and Tammy Miller. Her siblings Stevie (Michael) Sargent, Kevin (Stanley) Sobol, Toni Brogger Dematio, Frank (Jody) Brogger, and Pete Brogger; brother-in-law, Frank Thomas.
She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tom (Sam) Anthony, Kyle (Amber Agee) Anthony, Katlyn (Josh) Gildner, Jacob Miller, Zachary Carter, Justin (Rayann) Carter, Tamara Hekkema, Jacob Johnson, Nichole (Ryan) Kozik, along with her 18 great grandchildren.
Though she will be missed beyond measure, we find peace in knowing she is now home with the Lord, surrounded by everlasting light.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16
Forever loved, forever remembered.
