Denise Rabadan

Denise Rabadan, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on November 9, 2025 after a heroic 13 year battle with cancer. Denise was born on July 15, 1951 in Teaneck, NJ to Gertrude and Sylvester Rabadan and was the beloved youngest sister of David (Mary), Kathryn (Pete), John (Karen), William and James (Kathy), and was predeceased by John, Pete and Kathy. She was also the loving aunt to her many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that all adored and admired her.
Denise spent her career working for IBM for over 25 years, but her true passion was riding and caring for horses alongside her lifelong friends. Denise traveled out west several times for cattle drives and was a skilled jumper, competing in various shows. Even after her days of competing were over, Denise continued to pursue her love of riding by volunteering and training, taking great pride in tending for the animals under her care. She was an advocate for all animals, and provided a warm and loving home to her three adopted pups, Bailey, Big Al, and Poppy. She was a deeply selfless woman with a sharp wit and enduring sense of humor, who poured her devotion into her loving human and animal families, and will be profoundly missed by all.
Visitation this Thursday, November 13 from 12-4pm at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rock, Teaneck NJ. A funeral service will be held at the home from 3 to 3:30.
