Brenda Denise Robison of Morris passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at sixty-two years of age. Denise was born January 13, 1961 in Okmulgee to Charles Floyd and Bonniegene (Hager) Sharp. She graduated from Morris High School in 1979 and later from Oklahoma State University. On December 23, 1983, Denise and Jerry David Robison were married at the Morris Assembly of God. She worked at the Twin Hills School Cafeteria for many years before she began her 24 year career with Deep Fork Community Action. She also served on the Morris Cemetery Board for many years. Denise loved spending time with her family and planning family and class reunions. She will be remembered for her heart for helping others.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband, brother, Dennis "Hoot" Sharp, an aunt, Modene Jackson and her cat, Miss Kitty.
Survivors include her mother, Bonniegene Sharp, sons, Floyd Robison and wife Amber, Michael Robison and wife Krista, brother, Curtis Sharp and wife Tina, sisters-in-law, Sheila Webb, Linda Thomas and Jean Lee, her grand pets, Bullett, Sissy and Nala and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
A funeral service for Denise will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 18, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Morris with Reverend Jeff Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mekko Donathan, Hayden Sharp, Brady Sharp, Toby Herriman, Joe May, Chris Malone, Matt Sharp and Cammeron Cooper. Noah Sharp will serve as an honorary casket bearer.
Memorial contributions may be made in Denise's memory to the Morris Cemetery in care of the Morris City Hall.
