Dear Doug and family, we were so sad to read Denise´s obituary. I always skim through the paper when we come home from the lake. It was great to bump into you and reminisce for a few moments in Schroon not that long ago. Dear Doug, Kerrianne, Doug Jr, Sab, and the entire Smith family, I am so sorry for the loss of Denise. I am so heartbroken and sad. Denise was my dearest friend. She was sweet and kind and oh so funny! She had that contagious laugh that we all loved. She was so strong and never complained and was always more concerned about the people in her life. Having our little chats, many times a week, always made my day better. I was so blessed to have her in my life.
