Denise Swanner

Denise Swanner, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the age of 58 years and 1 day. Born on June 27, 1967, in Illinois, Denise was the cherished daughter of the late Barbara Lucas Delph and William Bob Delph of London, Kentucky.
Denise was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Derrick Swanner who survives her of London, along with their two children, Heather Terry and Cory Swanner, and his wife Joina. She was also a loving sister to Brenda Finley and her husband James, all of London. Denise's legacy lives on through her four grandchildren who she adored: Ava Terry, Easton Terry, Brady Terry, and Canaan Swanner. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Denise was a member of Laurel Chapel Christian Church. She was known for her deep love of animals and her generous, caring nature. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Though she had a tough exterior, Denise was tender-hearted and offered a calming presence to those facing difficult times. Family was the cornerstone of Denise's life. She took immense pride in her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and love. Her strength and kindness touched the lives of many.
Denise's life was a testament to compassion, resilience, and love. She leaves behind a profound impact on all who knew her and will be remembered with great affection and respect.
The funeral service for Denise Delph Swanner will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Wyatt and Jacob Brock officiating.
The family of Denise Delph Swanner will receive friends beginning at 1:30 pm Thursday until the funeral hour of 3 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
