Denise L. (Whitcomb) Ward passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was born August 29, 1964, to the late Harry L. and Patricia L. (Lego) Whitcomb.
Denise loved laughing, dancing, country music, all things glitter, the beach, singing karaoke, crafting, gardening, and her cat Cuddles, but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter, Colleen. Denise grew up in Folcroft, PA and graduated from Sharon Hill High School, Class of '82. She lived much of her adult life in Springfield, PA and worked in various administrative roles for the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District where she had a reputation as a reliable hard worker. Denise was supportive of various charitable organizations especially the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, for which she participated five times in the 'City to Shore' bike ride in honor of her mother.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Patty. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Ward; four sisters Jeannette Whitcomb (Robert), Cheryl Ramagano (Paul), Kim Eichman (Gene), and Valerie Whitcomb; and five nephews Eddie, Paul, Matt, Sam and Harry; and her former husband, Daniel Ward.
All services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Providence Animal Center (providenceac.org).
