Dennis A. Bills, age 89, of St. Henry passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at The Gardens at St. Henry. He was born on February 26, 1937, in Celina, Ohio to the late Clem & Marie (Mueller) Bills. On October 25, 1958, he married Dorothy (Bruns) Bills. Dennis and Dorothy were married for 67 years, and Dorothy survives at their home in St. Henry.
Dennis is also survived by three children and their spouses, Randy & Debra Bills of Sunbury, Terry & Janet Bills and Kathy & Chris Borgerding all of St. Henry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Erika & Michael Todd, Jeffrey Bills, Brent & Grace Bills, Jennifer & Todd Brophy, Travis & Steffany Bills, Austin & Alana Bills, Rachel & Christian Loyacano, and Nicole & Nathan Dues, 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way, as well as siblings and in-laws: Edgar & Judy Bills, Rose Anna & Jim Keller, Tom & Diana Bills, Donna Bills, and Lester Bruns, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Alvin Bills, Marilyn & Rich Osterholt, Dan & Betty Bills, Ivo & Jean Bruns, Marita & Ed Elking, Ralph & Roselynn Bruns, Donald & JoAnn Bruns and Joan Bruns, and his father and mother-in-law, George & Anna (Eyink) Bruns.
Dennis was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, and the Coldwater Eagles. He worked at Minster Machine for 36 years, and later for Gel’s IGA in St. Henry. He was a very active member of the Coachmen Camping Club and the Moonwalker’s Club for many years. Dennis served on the board for the St. Henry Bank for 26 years.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 26, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Condolences for the family may be expressed in person or online at hogenkampfh.com.
