Dennis M. Botka

I am a volunteer at rock steady boxing, and when I first met Dennis he gave me the biggest smile. Even thought an exercise was hard he gave it his all. I am very sorry to hear of his passing, rock steady boxing will miss him.

Chris and I met Dennis and his daughter, Emily, at Rock Steady Boxing. Despite the difficulties with getting around and using a walker...Dennis came with Emily as his support
cornerperson. With effort and encouragement, he tried hard to accomplish the exercises we were doing with our coaches demonstrations and leading class. It was a happy feeling to see Dennis and Emily walk through the door and join the Boxers, sometimes meeting three times a week. His obituary said so much more than I ever knew about him. It was apparent that family meant much to Dennis and he seemed to be an energetic and involved person with music and hobbies. Our sincere heartfelt condolences ago to Emily and the entire family, we are deeply sorry for your loss.

I admire Dennis strength to keep fighting no matter how he felt. He would show up to Rock Ready and give it everything he had. We will truly miss him.
