Dennis Allen Bye

Dennis Allen Bye, 59, of Davenport, formerly of Fort Madison, died Tuesday, July 23, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Bye will be held August 24th in Coralville, IA. Dennis was born June 25, 1954, to Bob and Pearl Bye in Fort Madison. Dennis enjoyed working with computers and was an entrepreneur, especially with solar energy. He enjoyed tennis, swimming and backgammon. Survivors include his children: Aimee (Tim) Seward of East Moline, IL, Erik Bye of Moline, IL; and Ashton (Jonathan) Turner of Bettendorf, IA, three sisters, Judi (Ron) Paskert of Des Moines; Jan (Russ) Ort of Coralville; Nancee (Shain) Smith of Fort Madison; and one brother, Greg (Lisa) Bye of Thorntown, IN; 4 grandchildren: Brock Burkhalter, Preston Seward, Maliyah Metcalf and Aiden Seward all of the Quad City Area plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was previously married to Diana (Gott) Mendoza and Mary (Krogman) Bye. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
