Dennis Comerford

Dennis Comerford left this earth on December 20, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dennis was born in 1959 in Camden, New Jersey, and was a lifelong resident of Pennsauken. The world was just a bit brighter with Dennis passing through it. He was known for his witty rejoinders, puns, and dad-jokes, and he took great joy in eliciting smiles, laughs, and more than a few eye-rolls from family, friends, and anyone he encountered. His career included the auto parts industry, making custom cabinetry, and inconvenient hours at a convenience store, though not all at once. Dennis coached youth baseball and enjoyed bowling, learning about World War II, and going to the Renaissance Faire. He was a life-long fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, and he liked attending games, if not always the final score.
He was loved and will be missed by wife Sharon (nee Kissling), and their sons Brian and Patrick, sister Peggy Smith and brother Tom Comerford, as well as nieces, nephews, a great-niece and a great-nephew.
Every family has a character, and Dennis was uniquely ours: kind, warm, generous, more than a little bit goofy.
The Funeral Service will be held January 10, 2026, at 11am at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 601 Kings Hwy. N, Cherry Hill, NJ. 08034
