Dennis Lynn Crumpler, age 80, passed away on Saturday, February 4th 2023 at Concordia Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born on Sunday, November 1st 1942 in Whittier, California to Howard and Maryan Crumpler (Culver).



Dennis was an outgoing and fun person. He loved taking his dog on trips and every Sunday morning you could find them at LeRoy's Café in Sulphur Springs eating scrambled eggs and bacon. When he wasn't with Mr. Tubbs, you could find him running around town finding old and interesting things to photograph. Dennis was a crafter who loved making jewelry and giving them away to random strangers in hopes to make their day. He loved to read and enjoyed his dragons and anything fantasy. When in California, he was a member of the Golden Empire Historical and Modeling Society. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and creating a world all their own.



He was preceded in death by his mother; Maryan Plunkett, his father; Howard Crumpler, his step-father; James Plunkett, and his sister; Colieen Northway.



Dennis is survived by his four children; Brandy Byrom (Tommy) of Comanche, Oklahoma, Kimberly Bennett of Bakersfield, California, Sean Crumpler (Rebecca) of Bakersfield, California, and Mr. Tubbs of Comanche, Oklahoma, five granddaughters; Janessa Byrom (Billy Garoutte) of Gravette, Arkansas, Jennifer Bryant (Stoney) of Bakersfield, California, Nikki Broadbent of Bakersfield, California, Megan Crumpler and Madison Crumpler of Bakersfield, California, one great-grandson; Spencer Bryant, one brother; Craig Plunkett of Fresno, California, and many nieces, nephews, and several adopted children and grandchildren.



A service will be held in his honor at the Fayetteville National Cemetery on Monday, February 13th 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
