Dennis Eldridge, age 67, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Dennis was born in Dayton on June 13, 1957 to the late Homer & Shirley Eldridge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dick Eldridge, Sue Whitt, Arvetta McClure; daughter, Allison Eldridge; and grandson, Rowan Thomas. Dennis is survived by his daughters, Brittany (Ben Thomas) Eldridge and Madison (Cheikh) Ndiaye; grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis, Ezra, and Echo; siblings, Bob (Sue) Eldridge, Ron (Patty) Eldridge, and Terry Eldridge; and many other relatives and friends.
Dennis was very dedicated to his business he owned and operated, D&D Direct Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with his family-especially his grandkids. Dennis was an avid Cincinnati Red and Bengals fan. Most Sundays and Thursdays you could find him out on the golf course.
Dennis will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 4-6pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 6pm.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dennis to the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or the Glioblastoma Foundation.
