Dennis Farrar Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 5, 2024.
Dennis Lynn Farrar, "Chip", 57 of Fort Worth, Texas passed away January 29, 2024.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in the Breyley Suite of Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment to follow immediately after funeral service.
Dennis was born September 20, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Patsy Lebo and Leslie Leon Jackson. Monty Farrar adopted Chip during his childhood and fathered him to adulthood. Chip grew up with his sister, Angie, and attended L.D. Bell High School.
Also known as Chip, Uncle Doo, Chipper, and Kadoo, he truly was a lover of all things good.
Chip loved dogs! He was a dog whisperer and really, any dog he came across was his dog. He loved wood and metal working, precious stones, and cars. He was also a rock and roll enthusiast, enjoying mostly guitar riffs. Chip's love for cars and helping people, turned into a career at AutoZone.
Chip had the remarkable ability to light up a room with a smile that was recognizable to all. He had a humor that could make even the toughest of people buckle over in laughter. Chip was known for his selflessness and unwavering commitment to helping people. He had a unique ability to empathize with others; lending a listening ear, a helping hand, and a comforting presence when someone was in need.
His ripple effect of kindness will be felt for years to come as he touched the lives of countless individuals with his genuine concern for the well-being of others. His legacy of compassion serves as a reminder that a single act of kindness can create a positive ripple that extends far beyond the moment. Chip's bighearted approach to life, his vibrancy, his acceptance, and his passion lead everyone who knew him to love him.
Chip's departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound felt by his entire family and countless friends.
Chip is survived by his mom Patsy and husband LtCol William Thomas Lebo; father, Leslie Jackson; and bonus mom, JoAnn Jackson; sister, Angie and husband Richard Hudson; his much-loved niece Bailey and husband Jared Spradling; sister, Milan and husband Chad Gilbert Fortin; and nephews Brayden and Brody Fortin, sister, Margaret Hoyne, and brother, Christopher Jackson; Aunt Barbara and her husband Louis Westfall; many cousins; friends; and his fur baby Chili.
He is preceded in death by his dad Monty Lynn Farrar; maternal grandparents, Dennis Cecil Bruton Jr. and Annie Laurie Bruton; paternal grandparents, Ruby Farrar Kensinger and Wallace Farrar; and fur baby Shiner.
The family appreciates everyone's support during this difficult time and invites everyone to celebrate the life of this amazing man, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
