Dennis Galloway, born on August 10, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2025, in Gallatin, Tennessee. He was 72 years old.
Dennis was the owner of Galloway Farms, where he dedicated many years of his life to the meat processing industry, serving his clients with skill and passion. His craftsmanship and commitment to quality were well-known in this community.
Outside of work, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved showing horses and trail riding. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting, where he found peace and happiness in nature’s embrace. But most of all, his happiness resonated with spending time out on his family farm.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Galloway; parents, Robert Galloway Jr. and Elizabeth Galloway.
Dennis leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his son, Dennis "Denny" Galloway (Catherine); daughters Lindsey Swartout (Zachary), Kellee Galloway, Jennifer Galloway; and his grandchildren: Woody Hartley, Cody Hartley, Nathaniel Robinson, Kaillee Galloway, Madalyn Galloway-Sherman, Hunter Sherman, Teagan Galloway, Lakelyn Galloway, Grayson Galloway, and Levi Swartout; great-grandchildren: Haddie Hartley, Scarlett Hartley, Hank Hartley, Everlie Cross, and Ivy Cross. He is also survived by his brother, Bob Galloway (Lorie); and sisters, Carol Bevans (Jim), and Beth Warren (Stan); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 12:00 Noon until service time. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
In honoring Dennis’s life, family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
