I was so sad to hear of Dennis´ passing! What a bright light! He was such a great mentor to me and so many others at Quaker Oats. I learned a strong work ethic from Dennis. He was very devoted to his family. I loved my time in Atlanta and was so honored that Dennis took me under his wing. I loved his sense of humor too. He would treat us to Kristy Kremes at the office on Fridays and swear he was shorted on his dozen. We never told him the glazed sugar on his face was a give away. :).
Whenever I am asked who influenced me the most...I would always talk about Dennis. He had the highest integrity...it was second nature with him.
Rest in peace Dennis. You deserve a rest! With deepest sympathy,
Jackie Bresie

Uncle Denny was a class act. I remember the first time I ever met him was at our Hodfrey family reunion. I was 8 years old and feeling overwhelmed with the amount of people and he had me laughing and instantly made me feel at ease. He expressed the same kindness towards me when he walked into my grandma´s (Ann Moynihan) viewing room when she passed and he just hugged me and we cried together. He told me that I was the grandchild that always kept her on her toes (truer words were never spoken lol) and that she bragged about me often, which if you knew my Grandma, then you knew that didn´t come often and you should take pride in it when it did. The thing I will miss about Uncle Denny is his smile. It was infectious and came with such kindness. I´m thankful for the memories I have with him and I wish I had more to cherish. Sending all of my love to his beautiful wife, his children and their spouses and his grandchildren. I´m sorry I could not be at the service. I will blow bubbles to Heaven with my kids in his honor
Love,
Emily Martin (Moynihan)
