Dennis D. Gogel Sr.

Dennis D. Gogel, Sr., 72, of Catasauqua, died surrounded by his family, Monday May 19, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the husband of Joanne A. (Kromer) Gogel and celebrated 51 years of marriage together in March. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Paul and Beatrice (Kuhns) Gogel.
Dennis proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Germany. He worked for many years in the coke ovens at Bethlehem Steel before they closed. Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching NASCAR. He loved watching and participating in demolition derbies around the Lehigh Valley.
Above all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving along with his wife Joanne, are his daughter Melissa M. Brunt and husband Phillip, son Dennis D. Jr., brother Darin Gogel and wife Kim, sisters Dawn Neustadter and husband David, Cheryl Kline and husband Donald, 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
