Dennis Hage Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bauman-Cron Funeral Home - Virginia on Oct. 22, 2025.
Dennis Harold Hage of Cotton, Mn passed away at home on October 20, 2025. He was born in Duluth, Mn on March 3, 1945, to Harold and Blanche (Randall) Hage. He spent his entire life in Cotton, a place he deeply loved and called home.
Dennis graduated from Cotton High School in 1963. He was a proud Veteran serving in the United States Army from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam War. After his service he married the love of his life, Barbara Smith, on April 25, 1975. Together they proudly raised four daughters. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local #49 before retiring in 2007.
Beyond his work, Dennis's true passion was farming. He found joy in sharing his love for animals with his children and grandchildren. His farm was more than a livelihood, it was the heart of his life and a place where countless memories were made. Those who knew Dennis will remember his quick wit and easy humor. He always had a joke ready, a clever twist on a nursery rhyme, or a funny story to share. Family gatherings were never complete without his humor bringing smiles to everyone from the youngest grandchild to the oldest cousin. In retirement, Dennis enjoyed his daily 4- wheeler rides and the simple joys of life on the farm.
Dennis's warmth, humor and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His laughter and lighthearted spirit will live on in the memories he created with those he loved most.
He is survived by his children: Misty (Donald) Miller, Mindy (Loy) Adkins, Shelby Hage and Delaney (Kyle) Saver; Grandchildren: Trevor and Thomas Miller, Rowdy and Gunnar Adkins, Natalie and Bristol Forneris, Leland, Walker and Lauren Saver, Tyler (Kayla) Miller, Chase (Madeline) Miller; 6 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Herbert (Kathy) Hage, Phoebe (Bob) Maki, Kathy Fisher, Barry (Marcia) Hage; Sisters-in-law: Carolyn Hage and Susan Hage and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Blanche Hage; Wife: Barbara; Brothers: Bruce Hage and Roger Hage; Sister: Peggy Mitshulis and Brother-in-law: William Fisher.
A celebration to celebrate Dennis life will be held at the Cotton Community Center on Sunday October 26, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.
