Dennis Earl Holliman, age 77, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, passed away on March 27, 2026.
John 14:1-4
Born in Pickens County, Alabama, Dennis lived a life defined by dedication—to his faith, his family, and his work. He spent over 40 years as a Sales Representative with Thompson Tractor, where he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike through his strong work ethic and integrity.
A faithful servant of the Lord, Dennis served as a Deacon at Taylorville Baptist Church. His commitment to his church and community was a reflection of the values he lived by each day.
Dennis found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. Whether traveling to the mountains or visiting Cades Cove, those moments together were what he treasured most. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melita Holliman; his daughters, Donna Holliman Strange (Sky Strange), Leigh Holliman, and Amanda Holliman Smithson (Johnathan Smithson); his grandchildren, Caleb Dimond, Cameron Dimond, Brooke Smith, Katie Hutchins, Nathan Smithson, Damon Smithson, and Addy Smithson; his great-grandson, Beckham Storey.
He is also survived by his brother, Keith Holliman (Cathy Holliman).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Jones and David Earl Holliman Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Taylorville Baptist Church on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
Dennis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on through his family for generations to come.
