Dennis G. Howard

Dennis G. Howard, age 75 of Neenah, passed away peacefully late Sunday, November 2, 2025. He was born August 24, 1950 to the late Floyd and Viola Howard in Pierre, SD and was married to Susan Pollack on February 7, 1970. The two resided in Neenah for many years, raising their two children.

Dennis will be missed dearly by his family, but they know he is up in Heaven enjoying a Coke and a round of golf with his buddy and father-in-law, John. On Earth, when Dennis wasn't golfing, he enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, feeding and naming neighborhood squirrels, and chatting with his neighbors. Dennis also enjoyed planting flowers, and all things cars: buying, selling, and just looking at. One of his favorite pastimes for most of his life, was playing Rook with his family.

Dennis was a proud employee of Rich's Bakery, and retired from Luvata in 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sue; children: Scott (Melissa) Howard, and Stacy Knaack; grandchildren: Kristy Knaack; TJ Knaack; and Kayla Howard; and by a great-grandson, Wyett. He is further survived by his brother, Eugene (Peggy) Howard; and his sister, Jane Dolan.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Floyd, Jr.; James; and Richard; and by his sister, Janet Lewis.

A gathering time to celebrate Dennis' life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Shriner's in Dennis' name, as he has done monthly since 2020, in memory of his own father-in-law.
