Dennis Dean Leeper

Mr. Dennis Dean Leeper, 65, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Findlay, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Punta Gorda. Dennis was born September 21, 1944 in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Andrew Franklin Russell and Doris Maxine Smith. A veteran of the Vietnam War, U.S. Navy, Dennis, a Commercial and Residential Siding installer, moved from his native Ohio to Punta Gorda in 1986, and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No.1693 and American Legion Post 103, both of Punta Gorda. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sally M. Leeper; six children, sons Dennis D. Leeper, Jr., and David A. Leeper, both of MO, and daughters Tammy Sue Cates of MO, Patricia S. Shaffner of OH, and Tina M. Shaginaw and Tracy A. Waters, both of MO; his father, William Leeper of AZ; one brother, Scott; six sisters, Marlene, Jackie, Connie, Lee Ann, Lisa and Billie; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
