UNION, WV – Dennis Lee Miller, age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV. Born May 22, 1960, in Union, WV, he was the son of Kate Lucas Miller of Union and the late Elvin Lewis Miller.
Dennis worked as a grain farmer. He enjoyed hunting, collecting guns, and gambling. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Lucy Miller, and Thomas and Florence Lucas; brother, Jeffery Miller; nieces, Jessica Dressler, Kayla Perron, and Melanie Perron; and nephew, Austin Medlin.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy "Cody" Miller; one son, Dennis Miller and Anna; two grandchildren, Wyland and Iylabelle Miller; one sister, Patricia Crosier and David; brother-in-law, Chester Ferguson and Patty; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Damron and Jane Chafin; special friends, Jerry Bland, J.T. Karnes, Clay Lucas, Jimmy Nichols, and Randy Pyne; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home in Union, WV, with Pastor Gene Fullen officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Wikel, WV. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
